Do you or a family member struggle with an addiction?
Are you experiencing a stressful life event, dealing with loss, or having anxiety/depression?
Has conflict become the norm in your marriage or in a significant relationship?
I feel very privileged to work with people who find the courage necessary to seek help and explore their issues during difficult circumstances. As your therapist I will help you find new ways to move into a more satisfying life.
I began my clinical work in Stockholm, Sweden (2002-2005) as a therapist for a state drug and alcohol program as well as for the Church of Sweden. In both cases I provided individual and group counseling for people battling with co-occurring disorders.
My areas of expertise are:
Upon returning to South Carolina I worked for the Dorchester Alcohol and Drug Commission and in 2007 become a Certified Addictions Counselor. Since 2008 I have worked mostly in private practice settings with individuals and couples.
I received a Bachelor’s in Music from Hunter College, NY, in 1991 and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2002.
In addition to clients who are private pay, I am in-network with the following insurance companies:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
