Life/Career Coach

“The great thing in this world is not so much where we stand as
in what direction we are moving”

FAQ

How is life coaching different from counseling?

One difference between counseling and life coaching is that counseling can investigate the underlying causes of mental health problems. Life coaching focuses more on the future to encourage personal development and self improvement.

What can a coach help me with?

Life coaches utilize techniques to help their clients in all aspects of life. If you’ve ever struggled with something – whether it be sticking to a diet or exercise regime, switching careers, moving out of your comfort zone, standing up for yourself at work, then consulting a life coach could help you.

What happens during a coaching session?

During the one hour session, your life coach will ask you a number of questions, such as what you want to get out of life, what areas you’re unhappy with and where you’d like to see yourself ending up. The coach and client collaborate to design an effective route toward your goal(s). Although a life coach will work with you, it’s often up to you to challenge or reflect upon certain ideas to help you move forward with your life.

  • Set and achieve goals
  • Make key decisions and develop strategies for success
  • Get out of a rut and move forward
  • Improve habits that are hindering your relationships
  • Live your ideal life

In the past I have helped clients establish and achieve:

  • Balancing business and personal life
  • Communicating powerfully and succinctly
  • Making an important life transition
  • Finding the ideal career

Typically, clients reach their goals or feel confident they can achieve their plan through clearly defined and targeted action steps within 5 to 6 coaching sessions.

I am not “in-network” with any insurance companies which means you pay the coaching fee up front. I offer a 20% discount if you purchase a 5 session coaching plan versus paying individually for each session.
