Julie Schendel, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

Are you overwhelmed with life, feeling stuck and unable to make any progress?

Are you struggling with a relationship and can’t seem to find closeness or peace?

Are you a teen or the parent of a teen who is feeling stuck?

I am committed to helping people get their lives back on track. I believe that you can live an abundant life from here forward, no matter where you are or how you got there. As your counselor, I will help you set goals for therapy and reach them through a variety of techniques. I am here to help you see that healing is possible, and with enough time and work, it can be a reality for your life.

I am trained to recognize patterns in emotion and behavior. I will be most helpful in giving you insight and perspective on your reactions and emotions, teaching you problem solving skills, giving you unconditional support and correcting false beliefs about yourself and your world-view.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and like to use this empirically proven approach with my clients. CBT is goal-oriented and will allow us to not only address the symptoms you’re currently experiencing but also look deeper into the root of the issue.

I help couples, adults, and adolescents with:

  • Improving communication and building mutually respectful relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress/Life Transition
  • Faith Concerns
  • Family Relationship Concerns

In addition to clients who are private-pay, I am in-network with the following insurances:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans, including federal and state)
  • Healthy Connections and First Choice Medicaid
  • Molina Medicaid

Whether you wish to use in-network or out-of-network benefits our staff  will check what the coverage will be.  We will answer any questions you may have about therapy and how to get started.  Don’t continue to suffer alone, help is available today.
