Erin Cobb, LISW-CP

Licensed Social Worker, Clinical Practice

Are you an adult struggling with anxiety?

Are you feeling overwhelmed by life and unsure how to manage stressors?

Are you caring for a loved one and need support in your challenging role?

I will start our therapy process by listening to your current life situation to understand where you feel stuck. Then we will develop a plan together to help you achieve your goals. I will make the process comfortable and safe and many previous clients have shared that I am easy to talk with.

I have extensive experience working with anxiety and stress management, and from the first session, I will teach you useful and relevant tools and techniques to reduce stress and enhance feelings of peace and calm.

I have a particular passion for seniors and their caregivers and understand the unique stressors that come with that role. I will help you make the situation more manageable and provide compassion and support for this challenging role.

In my clinical work, I use treatment tools that are proven to be effective, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques.

My areas of interest are:

  • Anxiety/Depression
  • Seniors
  • Caregiver Fatigue

In addition to clients who are private pay, I am in-network with the following insurance companies:

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield (SC State plans, Federal and BlueChoice)
  • Tricare
  • Medicare

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Georgia. I am a native of Charleston and have been working in the area since completion of my graduate work in 1999.
