Licensed Social Worker – Clinical Practice
Are you experiencing anxiety, hopelessness, insomnia, or suicidal thoughts?
Do you or someone you care about struggle with erratic mood swings or irrational behavior?
Are you in a relationship that feels like a constant rollercoaster?
Do you or a loved one struggle with alcohol, illegal or prescription drugs?
I understand therapy can be daunting and am happy you are taking steps to help yourself. I believe therapy is not one size fits all and will begin with a full bio-psychosocial assessment to get a full picture of where you are and where you want to be. I will help you take charge of your future and work through the challenges that are holding you down. Your specific goals will serve as our road map.
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy and incorporate music, nutrition, and mindfulness-based approaches to empower clients to reach their goals. I utilize a variety of methods including
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy-DBT, Solutions Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Ego Psychology.
My areas of interest are:
- Panic Attacks and Generalized Anxiety
- Substance Abuse or Dependency
- Bipolar Mood Disorder
- Personality Disorders:
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and am certified by the USC/IDISCUS to provide intervention to individuals struggling with alcohol and drug abuse.
