Counselor Cheryl Smith, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Are you a woman who wants freedom from a life struggle and needs support and insight as you move through it?

Are you feeling disempowered right now in your life as you face depression, anxiety or difficult relationship dynamics?

For over 30 years it has been my privilege to support and encourage hundreds of women through difficult seasons.  I have offered individual counseling as well as women’s group whose participants came from a variety of backgrounds including military wives.

At some point or another, all women will face a difficult season.  Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, a life transition like divorce or grief, or emotional, physical, or sexual trauma, you deserve compassion and acceptance.  Through the process of therapy, I will help you let go of old patterns and hurts, which will increase your self-esteem and self-acceptance.

If you are a woman 18 or older, it would be my privilege to support your journey to a happier, healthier you.  One of the greatest strengths of women is our courage and tenacity to face our issues, recognize our limitations and reach out for help.  For that reason even a short course of therapy can be very beneficial.

If you are interested in using health insurance for your visits, I am in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  If you have a different insurance plan and would like to see if out-of-network benefits might apply, call, text or email our office today and we will help you get the information you need.

Don’t suffer alone, help is available today.

I am in-network with the following plans:

  • BCBS (including SC State and Federal)
  • Medicaid:  Select Health, First Choice, Molina and Healthy Connections
  • Tricare is pending
