Are you experiencing recurring anxiety, depression, addiction, or problems in your close relationships that you can’t seem to break free from?
Do you find that you are your own worst critic with a tendency to be harsh, judgmental, or unforgiving of yourself?
I work with my clients to help them identify present day difficulties such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship strain, or trauma symptoms and to develop insight as to why they may be experiencing these troubles so that they can better heal.
I specialize with adults in the following areas:
- Trauma Recovery
- Addiction and Substance Abuse
- Couples Therapy
My approach to therapy with my clients is warm, empathic, and supportive. My approach draws from Trauma Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Attachment Theory, Person Centered Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I have advanced training and years of experience with treating trauma. My view of trauma includes, but is not limited to: emotional/physical/sexual/verbal abuse, combat, life threatening experiences, relational or attachment traumas, neglect, abandonment, and bullying.
I am trained in Level 1 and Level 2 of EMDR and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I also have advanced training and much experience with substance abuse.
