Do want to feel more confident that you are using the most effective ways to discipline your child?
Are one child’s difficult behaviors putting a strain on your entire family and your marriage?
Do you have a pre-teen or adolescent who has become distant, down or anxious?
Are you an adult looking for help and guidance with a challenging life situation?
In my work with children and their families, my goal is to help you be the parent you want to be. As a certified Parent Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) I have worked with families in challenging situations for ten years and understand how difficult and draining it can be. PCIT, which is a specialized treatment program that focuses on helping parents reduce a wide spectrum of challenging child behaviors, is extremely effective and empowering for both parents and children. PCIT helps children as young as two through elementary school ages.
In my work with pre-teens and adolescents, I will support you in keeping your connection with your child during this challenging developmental time. I offer my teen clients an accepting, nurturing and safe place to open up about their struggles and set goals for positive growth.
I also frequently work with adult clients in the following areas:
- Relationship struggles
- Life transitions
In addition to clients who are private pay, I am in-network with the following insurance companies:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (all plans)
- Medicaid (all plans)
