Counselor Wesley Senn, LPC, NCC, CCMHC

Licensed Professional Counselor

If you are here you are probably searching for someone to help you overcome your struggles. I want to offer my clinical skills to journey with you along your path to wellness and healing.

Therapy can often be thought of as a long mystical process. Contrary to this popular notion, I like to take a practical and straightforward approach, utilizing evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to understand the mental, physical, and relational aspects of your situation. I want to help you feel better, but I am truly interested in helping you get better. Through work and practice, my approach can help you achieve lasting change that you can draw upon after therapy is completed in order to become more resilient to future challenges that may arise. At the end of our time in therapy, my hope for you is that you will become your own “therapist” and be empowered to identify and solve your problems.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns including:

  • Addiction (alcohol/drug, pornography)
  • Anger management
  • Anxiety (general and social anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, obsessive-compulsive)
  • Behavioral issues
  • Depression and emotional disturbance
  • Life changes/transitions
  • Relationship issues
  • Self-esteem

I accept health insurance and am currently in-network with the following insurance companies:

  • Select Health, First Choice and Healthy Connections Medicaid
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans, including federal and state)

If you have any questions regarding insurance providers or what your coverage for mental health is, please contact our administrative staff who will be happy to assist you with these questions. If you are interested in using out-of-network benefits, often you will be reimbursed a portion of the session fee directly.  For your convenience, our staff will submit all of the insurance claims electronically.

I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina Upstate and my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Columbia International University.

In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am also credentialed as both a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC).

Whether you are dealing with a challenging situation in your life and need extra support, or if you are ready to move in a new direction, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
